You can get there by taking a flight from Santiago to Puerto Natales, followed by a shuttle that will take you directly to Torres del Paine. Expect to pay between \u20ac137 and \u20ac368 for the journey, depending on the season, plus \u20ac31.25 per adult for a three-day pass to the national park.<\/p>\n

If you’re lucky enough to be in Chile and have time to explore, I highly recommend visiting the park! There are plenty of activities to enjoy, including hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, and even fishing.<\/p>\n

For those who want to reach the famous Grey Glacier, adventurers should plan for a 30 to 40 km trek from the park entrance, with refuges along the way costing between \u20ac15 and \u20ac40 per night. Alternatively, you can reach the glacier by kayak or boat. A three-hour tour by boat on the Grey lake will take you up close to the glacier, costing around \u20ac110 per person.<\/p>\n

San Rafael : Where ice meets the ocean<\/b><\/h3>\n

San Rafael Glacier<\/strong> is different from Grey Glacier. If you’re looking for a less touristy spot than Torres del Paine<\/strong>, this is the perfect place. Here, you\u2019ll find yourself in an isolated and wild environment, where few people venture each year. The glacier<\/strong> is located in Laguna San Rafael National Park, flowing into Laguna San Rafael<\/strong> and reaching the Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n

You can access the park by taking a boat from Puerto Chacabuco<\/strong>, which costs \u20ac182 per person for a 6.5-hour journey. It\u2019s a long trip, but absolutely worth it!<\/p>\n

Moreover, the wildlife is diverse here, you can spot whales, especially during the migration season (from december to april), penguins, and Andean condors soaring over the fjords. In the waters near the glacier, you can also see sea lions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Throughout the excursion, you\u2019ll see lagoons, ice wells, crevasses, ice tunnels, and rivers in this ice desert.<\/strong><\/p>\n
