Crafting journeys across Southern Africa with passion, precision, and personality.
Founded in Zimbabwe by Bruno Van den Bossche, Inspiration Africa was born from a deep-rooted passion for travel and a commitment to delivering exceptional, tailor-made experiences. With over 30 years of experience—starting in the Incentive Travel and Events industry—Bruno has steered the company to become a trusted name for both high-end FITs and MICE events across Southern Africa.
From the outset, our vision embraced both the private traveler and the corporate group, recognizing the different rhythms, expectations, and creative demands of each. Our reality on the ground quickly shaped our expansion: cross-border tourism is the norm in this part of Africa, with over 60% of our programs spanning more than one country. As a result, our operational footprint grew organically—from Zimbabwe into Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, and Namibia—with a strong presence on the ground in each destination.
Our team reflects our philosophy: we’re proudly international, with individuals who bring not only deep regional knowledge but also language fluency and global sensibility. While some of our team thrive on designing bespoke FIT itineraries, others specialize in the logistics and adrenaline of MICE events—yet all are united by a shared passion for tailor-made travel.
Our Strengths at a Glance:
- We are “glocal” – With boots on the ground in five countries (Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe), we offer localized insight with a global perspective, and we seamlessly deliver cross-border solutions.
- We thrive on complexity – From vintage air rallies to high-profile incentives, our portfolio reflects a long track record of managing challenging, high-stakes events with creativity and technical finesse.
- Our team is our power – Diverse, experienced, and multilingual, we bring together a wealth of perspectives that enrich our approach and communication.
- We’re always on – Our clients know us for our exceptional availability. We’re not 9-to-5 people—our responsiveness is notorious and part of our service promise.
- We get a kick from challenges – The more intricate the brief, the more our creativity and problem-solving shine. We don’t shy away from complexity—in fact, it’s where we do our best work.
Whether you’re planning a private luxury safari or a multi-country corporate event, Inspiration Africa delivers with dedication, insight, and an unmistakable spark of adventure.

Why Zambia
Zambia is one of Southern Africa’s best-kept secrets—a land of vast wilderness, authentic safaris, and deep cultural heritage. It may be under the radar compared to some of its neighbors, but for those seeking raw beauty, rich wildlife, and rewarding travel, Zambia delivers an unfiltered, immersive African experience
For MICE: Authenticity – Accessibility – Adventure
Lusaka, Zambia’s capital, serves as the country’s primary MICE hub. With good regional flight connections and a growing number of hotels and conference venues, it offers the basic infrastructure for conventions and business meetings.
For smaller and more exclusive MICE groups, Lusaka is also the perfect gateway to Zambia’s safari jewels—notably the Lower Zambezi National Park and the South Luangwa National Park. Both regions offer stunning landscapes, superb wildlife, and high-end lodges capable of delivering intimate incentive travel experiences with style and substance.
Livingstone, located at the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls, also plays a role in incentive travel. While we believe the Zimbabwean side offers a superior guest experience, Livingstone remains a viable option for adrenaline-packed activities and team-building programs, especially when paired with Chobe or further inland safari options.
At Inspiration Africa, we specialize in designing true adventure-style MICE programs, and Zambia lends itself beautifully to overland team-building expeditions. Imagine a self-drive 4×4 adventure through remote bush and river landscapes, with exclusive camps, fire-lit evenings, and unforgettable bonding experiences. But—this is not for the faint-hearted: Zambia is vast, and logistics require time and careful planning.
Keep in mind that outside of Lusaka and Livingstone, accommodation options for larger groups are limited. Like many destinations in this part of Africa, long advance planning is absolutely essential to secure the best properties.
Why Zambia for MICE:
- Good conference infrastructure in Lusaka
- Exclusive incentive potential in Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa
- Livingstone offers Vic Falls access and adventure activity options
- Fantastic for adventurous, team-building focused itineraries
- Limited capacity outside key hubs – best for small, high-value groups
- Requires long lead times and thoughtful logistics
For High-End FIT: Wild – Untamed & Woderfully off the Grid
Zambia is a dream come true for safari purists—those who want to be far from crowds and close to nature. This is where walking safaris were born, and where you can still feel like you have entire landscapes to yourself.
The Lower Zambezi, South Luangwa, North Luangwa, Kafue, and Liuwa Plains all offer world-class wildlife experiences, often in private concessions or under light-footprint conservation models. Zambia’s guiding standards are high, and experiences tend to be immersive—be it walking safaris, canoe trips, or fly-camping under the stars.
But this exclusivity comes at a cost. The country’s large size and remote park locations make air transfers almost essential, which can drive up costs. For FIT travelers, this means Zambia works best for those with generous budgets and sufficient time to travel between regions.
Those who make the effort are richly rewarded: elephants in camp, leopards on the prowl, hippos in the river, and the kind of silence you can only find deep in the bush.
Why Zambia for FIT:
- Iconic safari destinations: South Luangwa, Lower Zambezi, Kafue, Liuwa Plains
- Ideal for repeat travelers seeking off-the-grid authenticity
- Birthplace of walking safaris, top-tier guiding standards
- Exceptional for active safaris: walking, canoeing, fly-camping
- Limited crowds, high wildlife density, rich photographic opportunities
- Requires time and budget for internal flights and transfers
Connect Zambia with other destinations:
Zambia’s location allows for meaningful cross-border combinations that cater to various types of travelers:
- Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls) – The most natural pairing, especially for those arriving via Livingstone. A twin Falls experience or extension into Hwange or Chobe is easily arranged.
- Malawi – To the east, Malawi’s Lake offers a beautiful, relaxing counterpoint to a rugged safari. It pairs especially well with South Luangwa, and offers unique beach-lake lodge experiences, diving, and culture. But as always, budget and planning are key.
- Botswana or Namibia – While combinations are possible, distances and connections make them better suited for longer, higher-end journeys.
Zambia is not mass-market—and that’s exactly the point. Whether you’re planning a hard-hitting incentive in the wild, a conference in Lusaka, or a deeply personal safari circuit, Zambia offers depth, authenticity, and adventure that few destinations can rival.
At Inspiration Africa, we thrive in crafting the kind of itineraries Zambia does best—bold, beautiful, and deeply immersive
