Founded in 1960, Sebang Travel has a pioneering history in Korea’s travel industry: organizing the country’s first international convention for the JCI World Congress in 1964, planning the Rotary International Conference in Nice, France, launching Korea’s first cruise business with World Discover in 1985, and receiving the Distinguished Service Award from the World Tourism Organization (WTO). In 1988, the company introduced Korea’s first overseas package tours (Arirang Highlights), and by 2000, it had welcomed over 100,000 foreign tourists, establishing itself as a leader in the local tourism industry.
